Mahindra is set to launch the all-electric version of the XUV 3XO SUV by early next year in India. According to media reports, production is scheduled to begin in November.
Unlike the XUV400 EV, the electric XUV 3XO is expected to have identical dimensions to its internal combustion engine counterpart. Its styling will resemble the facelifted SUV, with some EV-specific design touches. Similarly, the interior and equipment are also expected to closely resemble those of the XUV 3XO.
The XUV 3XO EV is expected to be powered by a 34.5 kWh battery pack, similar to lower-spec variants of the XUV400 EV. However, details regarding its range and electric motor specifications have not been disclosed yet.
Mahindra aims to price the XUV 3XO EV more competitively compared to the XUV400 EV.
